What we're looking for:
* At least 5 years of professional experience building high-quality, performant JavaScript applications
* Strong and consolidated experience with ReactJS
* Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Protractor, Selenium, or similar
* Solid knowledge of JavaScript packaging and build tools, including NPM, Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, or equivalent
* Experience with server-side JavaScript, particularly Node.js
* Hands-on experience with automated testing and mocking techniques
* Experience working with Java or other Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages (with willingness to work with Java)
* Experience working in cloud-based environments, preferably AWS (v2)
* Fluency in English (B2)
Nice to Have:
* Familiarity with technologies such as Scala, Kafka, Akka, Memcached, Apache Storm, Apache Cassandra, Zookeeper, RabbitMQ, or similar
Important:
This position is remote-based in Portugal with montly office to Porto. Candidates should be based in Portugal and have a Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit to be considered.
