We are looking for a
Quality Assurance Engineer
to join our team in
Lisbon
who is passionate about automation, performance, and the continuous delivery of excellence.
What technical skills are you likely to have?
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Automation Core:
Solid experience with
Playwright
for E2E web automation and
API testing
(Postman, REST Assured).
Cloud & DevOps:
Practical knowledge of
Azure DevOps
(creating/maintaining YAML pipelines) and
Azure Test Plans
.
Performance:
Experience with load and performance testing using
JMeter
or
Azure Load Testing
.
Coding:
Ability to read and write code in at least one language (
TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, or Python
).
Agile Mastery:
Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and tools like
Azure Boards
.
Preferred Assets:
ISTQB Certification, experience with
Docker/Kubernetes
, knowledge of
BDD/Gherkin (SpecFlow/Cucumber)
, and fluency in English.
What will be your responsibilities?
Automation Excellence:
Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites with
Playwright
.
CI/CD Integration:
Integrate and manage automated tests within
Azure DevOps pipelines
to ensure continuous execution.
Strategic Testing:
Plan and execute functional tests (
Smoke, Regression, Sanity, and Exploratory
) based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
Performance Insights:
Design and run load tests, interpreting results to propose system optimizations.
Quality Governance:
Manage bug tracking via Azure Boards, communicating quality risks clearly to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize test environments and contribute to the evolution of internal QA documentation and processes.
