We're looking for a high-ownership React Native Mobile Engineer to join our Platform Team, where you'll help power experiences used daily by 10K+ to millions of users. If you love building polished mobile products, obsess over performance, and enjoy the pace of a fast-moving startup, this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
1. Design, build, and scale high-performance mobile apps using React Native & Expo for iOS and Android.
2. Own end-to-end mobile features from product discussions and architecture to launch and iteration.
3. Work on data-heavy, deeply nested UIs that must remain fast, responsive, and delightful at scale.
4. Build and maintain audio playback & recording experiences used in real-world customer workflows.
5. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Native (Swift/Kotlin) teams.
6. Debug, optimize, and ship improvements rapidly to our users' notice when things break, and so do we.
7. Make data-driven engineering decisions that balance performance, maintainability, and speed.
8. Raise the bar for mobile architecture, code quality, and user experience across the platform.
What We're Looking For:
9. Proven experience shipping mobile apps to App Store / Play Store with 10K+ active users.
10. Deep expertise in React Native, with a strong understanding of how it differs from web React.
11. Experience working with audio playback, recording, or real-time media is a big plus.
12. Strong grasp of performance optimization, memory usage, and smooth animations.
13. Solid architectural instincts, you care about scalability, separation of concerns, and flexibility.
14. A customer-first mindset: bugs, edge cases, and UX papercuts matter to you.
15. Comfortable working in a fast-growing startup environment.
16. You reason through problems logically and build future-proof solutions, not hacks.
17. Bonus: Exposure to native mobile development (Swift / Kotlin).
