Job Title: Local IT Manager
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day operations of IT systems, ensuring consistent performance and functionality.
* Lead and manage a team of IT personnel on-site, providing guidance and support to achieve objectives and results.
* Develop and track the budget for IT Shared Services, making informed purchasing decisions.
* Foster close collaboration with IT Operations Region Manager to drive project success.
* Cultivate strong relationships with users, providing effective training and ownership of IT systems.
* Deliver high-quality 1st & 2nd level functional & technical support for critical applications and resolve IT incidents efficiently.
* Elevate the application of group standards across hardware, software, security policy, software licensing control, inventory management, etc.
* Nurture site contracts and supplier relationships, ensuring seamless maintenance services.
* Establish and enforce IT procedures, including Business Continuation Plans/Disaster Recovery Plans.
* Promote innovation through new projects for local applications and infrastructures.
* Present regular site reports to the IT Region Manager.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Management or related field with a specialization in Information Technology.
* At least three years of experience in a similar role.
* Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to escalate issues effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage diverse populations.
* Proven customer service skills and experience working in manufacturing environments is preferred.
* A solid understanding of shop floor systems and familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems (Win7, Win10, Server).
* Experience with Cisco Networking and/or training is advantageous.
* Strong negotiation and communication abilities, coupled with fluency in English.
