About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, innovative, and resourceful
Civil Engineer
to join our Project in
Viana do Castelo
. This role is critical to ensure the successful design and delivery of infrastructure and civil works for industrial and mission-critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate the sustainability and environmental impact of projects.
Efficiently manage resources and ensure timely project delivery.
Liaise with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, contractors, consultants, statutory authorities, and clients.
Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit) to support design work.
Control of drainage, service, road infrastructure, and earthworks on a broad range of projects related to the project.
Overall management of the project.
Planning and control of construction costs.
Rebudgeting and consultation with suppliers.
Technical control of the work carried out.
Ensuring quality, environmental, and safety conditions on site.
Required Skills and Experience
Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
Focus on best technical and ethical practices.
Focus on goals and results.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good knowledge of IT tools: MS Project and AUTOCAD.
Experience in industrial facilities and/or design of mission-critical facilities is a plus.
Experience using AutoCAD (BIM is a plus).
Experience liaising with Structural, Architectural, and MEP teams.
Knowledge of relevant national guidance in Portugal;
familiarity with Nordiccountries' standards is a plus.
Proficiency in English (mandatory);
other languages are an advantage.
Ability to effectively communicate design standards to internal and external project partners.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
