About R2R Specialist Role
This position plays a pivotal role in capital investments and asset management. The R2R Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining project budgets, ensuring accuracy in accounting and reporting.
* Capital investment projects and their budgets are effectively managed.
* The fixed asset system is maintained for accurate accounting, processing, and reporting of assets.
* Fixed asset acquisitions and disposals are recorded in the accounting system.
Responsibilities include:
* Generating monthly depreciation postings for optimal financial tracking.
* Reviewing and updating detailed schedules of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation to ensure data integrity.
* Monitoring and reporting monthly capital expenditure to stakeholders.
* Producing monthly and annual Fixed Assets account reports to facilitate business decision-making.
* Conducting analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management or stakeholders.
* Assisting with periodic physical counts of fixed assets to maintain inventory accuracy.
* Maintaining a monthly reconciliation of balance in fixed asset subsidiary ledger to summary-level account in general ledger.
* Performing quarterly account reconciliations on Blackline to ensure accuracy and compliance of reported Fixed Asset balances.
* Supporting financial audit (internal/external) and tax filing activities.
