Description
We are building a world-class team and would love you to join us. As an experienced Cloud Engineer, you’ll be part of an agile project team working with all the infrastructure components of a system. Your responsibilities will include writing code, provisioning infrastructure, and driving root cause analysis, all while enjoying learning and building new things.
You will also guide the team on DevOps methodologies and best practices, maintaining close contact with the CEO, COO, and other client-side stakeholders, so fluency in English is essential.
Expected travel time varies from 0% to 15%, depending on the project and organizational needs.
Requirements
You are good at
* Diagnosing issues on Linux/Unix systems
* Understanding how the Internet and web applications work
* Utilizing metrics, logs, distributed tracing, and observability tools
* Using configuration management frameworks like Ansible
* Maintaining applications in production
* Working independently with minimal supervision
* Learning and teaching others humbly and motivatedly
* Applying DevOps methodologies and best practices
* Nice to have: experience with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Traefik, Redis Cluster, Kafka
You excel at
* Using AWS cloud services
* Setting up CI/CD pipelines and managing AWS networking and accounts
* Working with containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
* Understanding CI/CD concepts, tools like Github, Gitlab, Jenkins
* Implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation
* Monitoring with tools like OpenTelemetry, Grafana, DataDog, CloudWatch
* Using Helm Charts
* Scripting in Bash, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
* Communicating fluently in English
* Managing production systems
