We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our client's team in the energy sector. The position can be based in Lisbon or Oporto.
Main Responsibilities
* Define security controls and implement technical security measures aligned with architectural guidelines and internal policies, ensuring security by design across projects and operations.
* Assess technical risks and propose effective protection measures for systems, networks, and data to mitigate vulnerabilities.
* Support the development of reference security architectures, action plans, and technical security requirements for new projects, considering evolving threats and digital trends.
* Participate in operational security activities such as system hardening, compliance checks, deployments, and testing innovative cybersecurity technologies.
Requirements
* Academic background in Information Systems or related fields is valued.
* At least 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
* Solid knowledge of tools like firewalls, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, SASE, Zero Trust.
* Knowledge of automation tools is a plus.
* Sense of responsibility and commitment.
* Ability to communicate ideas clearly and objectively.
