Job Overview
Seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead accounting efforts.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of monthly closing processes.
* Analyze and manage inventory accounting, including adjustments as necessary.
* Process fixed asset transactions, including additions, disposals, and transfers.
* Manage intercompany accounting and accruals.
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate accounts.
* Develop and maintain supplier databases.
* Prepare key performance reports, such as GRNI, aged creditors, prepayments, unallocated payments, and banking information.
Requirements:
* Advanced degree in Finance or Accounting from a reputable institution.
* A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably with Chartered Accountant (CPA) certification.
* Excellent knowledge of accounting standards (Portuguese GAAP and IFRS) and the Portuguese Tax System.
* Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
