You'll join a collaborative group that works across Professional Services, Product, and Engineering to deliver reliable, scalable integrations for customers around the world.About the Role As a Data Integration Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of integrations between clients' ERP/accounting systems and the company's financial performance platform.
You'll work with a range of technologies — APIs, SQL, cloud environments, and secure file transfers — to ensure financial data flows smoothly, accurately, and consistently.
This is a technical, hands-on role that blends scripting, data processing, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with implementation consultants.
It's a great opportunity to build real expertise in financial data pipelines and enterprise system connectivity.Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support integrations between client finance systems (ERP/accounting platforms such as NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, etc.) and the cloud performance platform.
Build and refine REST/SOAP API connections using JavaScript-based scripting.
Write SQL queries to clean, transform, validate, and stage financial data in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Support secure file-based and cloud-based data workflows, including SFTP, AWS, and Azure storage environments.
Troubleshoot integration issues, track down data discrepancies, and contribute to improving performance and reliability.
Document integration logic clearly and collaborate with internal teams to refine processes and best practices.Successful candidates typically bring:Essential Skills Technical background through degree, training, or practical experience (Computer Science, Data Engineering, etc.).
Solid working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and modern integration concepts.
Experience with JavaScript, Python, or similar scripting languages.
Basic grounding in ETL/data-processing principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with attention to detail.
Ability to work with AI-enabled tools for research and productivity.
Willingness to learn new platforms and adapt to evolving technologies.
Eligible to work in the country where the role is based.Nice-to-Have Exposure to ERP or accounting systems.
Experience handling financial datasets (GL, trial balance, transactions, dimensions).
Understanding of authentication methods such as OAuth2.0 and token-based access.
Familiarity with AWS or Azure environments.
