We are currently looking for a skilled engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Linux and Windows environments, experience in incident management, automation mindset, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
* Efficiently manage and resolve production incidents.
* Coordinate and follow up on technical operations, including electrical shutdowns and server mode changes.
* Participate in change management processes for applications and infrastructure in collaboration with development, sysadmin, DBA, and networking teams.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on application components, architecture, and operational procedures.
* Manage backup processes and conduct regular restore tests to ensure data integrity.
* Monitor applications and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with established SLAs.
* Perform load capacity control for applications.
* Contribute to continuous automation and improvement of operational procedures.
* Collaborate with development teams to define the architecture of new applications, aligned with infrastructure standards.
Technical Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
* Experience with BMC/Control-M or other industrial schedulers.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Python, and/or PowerShell ).
* Experience with JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, or IIS .
* Solid experience with databases (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, and/or MySQL ).
* Experience managing infrastructure backups.
* Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix or Grafana preferred).
* Knowledge of LDAP, Firewall, Reverse Proxy, Active Directory, and Kerberos .
* Good networking knowledge.
