Job Description:

We are looking for a
Market Access & Public Affairs Manager,
based in Lisbon, who, following the company's overall strategies, will be responsible for securing optimal market access for all Ipsen's portfolio, as well as being the company
representative
to key institutions & stakeholders of the Portuguese Health system, aiming at:
Identifying and developing access opportunities for Ipsen products at National and institutional level; and Increasing Ipsen's awareness as a trustful partner
among key stakeholders and health environment.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Represent the Company in specific working groups or events of this field of interest (eg, Apifarma)
Leads and coordinates the implementation of Value & Access strategy for the affiliate, from early stages before commercialization, to ensure fast patient access to Ipsen new products. Elaborating product value story and supportive materials (i.e. PICO analysis, value dossier, budget impact and cost-effectiveness models, plus ad-hoc innovative value proposals to guarantee reimbursement like risk sharing and/or financial agreements). And negotiates reimbursement with Infarmed/Ministry of Health.
Strategic life cycle pricing: Maintains and expands patient access whist maximizing the revenue of the existing brands; Manages the regular price reviews and label changes of the products; and Monitors access and regulatory environment to anticipate and assess any new political access policies impact, as well as
integrating knowledge on elements as diverse as payers, hospital operations, and political trends to produce positive impact on Ipsen's portfolio.
Ensure integration into brand strategies and plans.
Collaborates in the introduction of new products or presentations at hospital setting, ensuring integration of V&A strategy into brand strategies and plans.
Does the mapping and engagement of the stakeholders of the main accounts under its responsibility, including the Board of Directors, Purchasing Departments, Pharmacy, Clinical Directors and other relevant individuals or institutions:
Who are we looking for?
Requirements:
Education: A master's degree in health sciences is required. Ideally with a Post-graduation in Market Access
and Health Economics
A minimum of 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical industry in the fields of
Market
Access (working on HTA submissions and Price & Reimbursement
negotiation
) and/or Public Affairs
Experience of working with third party stakeholders and external customers
Experience of working in a cross-functional/multi-cultural environment
Proven ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with key decision makers in mid to large Hospital organizations (CIO, COO, CFO, CEO) and/or National Institutions to create business opportunities
Languages: Fluent in Portuguese and English. Knowledge of Spanish is highly valued.
Technical Competencies:
Profound knowledge of Portuguese NHS
Network within key stakeholders of the Portuguese Health ecosystem is a plus
Experience in negotiation and project management
Strong problem solving and analytical skills to deliver customer-focused proposals
Proven track record of exceptional performance, high productivity and meeting deadlines.
