We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our migration to a new data stack (Talend + Snowflake + Power BI). The ideal profile combines strong ETL, SQL and BI skills with a forward-looking mindset toward DataOps and Data Governance.
The Data Engineer will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, performance, and availability — and help us shape the future for becoming a more data-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes in Talend and Snowflake;
* Develop and optimize data models and SQL queries to support business-critical reporting;
* Deliver and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and reliability;
* Partner with business teams to translate requirements into robust data solutions;
* Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across the data lifecycle;
* Contribute to the implementation of DataOps practices;
* Support the adoption of data cataloging, lineage, and governance practices;
* Collaborate closely with functional analysts, development and infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience);
* 2-3 years of proven experience;
* Experience with SQL (query optimization, modeling) and Power BI (data modeling, DAX, deployment);
* Strong understanding of data warehouse design (Inmon/Kimball methodologies);
* Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Talend preferred);
* Familiarity with Snowflake or other modern cloud data warehouses;
* Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum);
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders;
* Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Fluent English is mandatory.
