The
RTR Coordinator
is responsible for supporting the day-to-day coordination of RTR activities within the Global Business Services organization. The role ensures smooth operational execution, adherence to accounting policies, timelines, and SLAs, while acting as a key liaison between the RTR team, stakeholders, and management. The position contributes to process efficiency, service quality, and continuous improvement across the RTR function.
Core Responsabilities:
Coordinate and monitor day-to-day Record to Report activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Support the preparation, review, and follow-up of balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports in line with accounting policies and internal controls.
Track team performance against SLAs, KPIs, and close calendars, escalating risks and issues as needed to ensure service commitments are met.
Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, supporting effective communication, issue resolution, and alignment across functions and regions.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, SOX/internal control requirements, and GBS governance frameworks.
Coordinate Internal and External Audit requests
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, contributing to standardization, documentation, and automation efforts within the RTR function.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive understanding and support for R2R and Global Business Services.
Work very closely with the BPO RTR Team in ensuring alignment and achievement of common goals.
Technical Competencies:
Technically savvy with good understanding of emerging tech solutions in R2R.
In-depth understanding of R2R leading practices.
Demonstrated experience leading process re-engineering initiatives, including technology enablement and incorporation of leading practices.
Strong grasp of accounting concepts and how R2R processes impact MPG's business targets and financial performance.
Solid understanding of Record to Report concepts.
