Role Summary As Head of Technology, you will partner with stakeholders to prioritize, create, and own engineering roadmaps, driving the vision for your area of responsibility across multiple locations and time zones. You will promote a culture of openness, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while solving cross‐vertical problems and delivering high‐quality, scalable software. Responsibilities Develop and own a 2‐year strategic vision and technical roadmap for your engineering teams. Collaborate with other heads to reduce bottlenecks, improve efficiencies, and enable cross‐functional initiatives. Identify ownership gaps, negotiate responsibilities, and ensure seamless delivery. Engage with internal and external partners to manage dependencies, prioritize improvements, and uphold a continuous‐improvement mindset. Ensure effective operational support in partnership with Service Operations and customer support. Attract, develop, motivate, and retain high‐performing talent; manage under‐performers through coaching or appropriate actions. Champion achievements across the tribe, fostering a culture of learning, resilience, and innovation. Maintain component and system performance, stability, and reliability, liaising with partners and regulatory bodies to enforce release processes. Qualifications Proven track record building high‐performing engineering teams in a collaborative, cross‐functional environment. Experience defining and executing a strategic vision and technical roadmap with stakeholders. Strong background in agile delivery methodologies, software delivery best practices, and continuous improvement. Experience delivering technology solutions for internal and customer‐facing products in fast‐moving, ambiguous settings. Hands‐on experience with on‐call support and a relentless focus on system stability, availability, and performance. Excellent communication skills, able to engage technical and non‐technical audiences at all levels. Leadership style that encourages collaboration, idea sharing, and empowerment of team members.
