Our mission is simple: put pedagogy before technology and make assessment a driver of learning. With over 180 institutions worldwide trusting our platform, we're shaping the future of education.
The role
As a DevOps Release Manager at Inspera, you'll sit at the heart of our delivery process. You'll work closely with engineering, QA, product, and operations teams to ensure releases are predictable, well-communicated, and low-risk — even in a fast-moving, agile environment.
You'll own the release calendar, coordinate end-to-end release activities, and play a key role in ensuring our software reaches production smoothly and on time.
What you'll be doing:
Own and maintain the release calendar, aligning delivery across multiple teams
Coordinate end-to-end release activities from development through to production
Lead release readiness reviews, approvals, and go/no-go decisions
Ensure accurate versioning, tagging, and release documentation
Act as a key communication link between engineering, QA, product, and operations
Support continuous improvement of release and deployment processes
What we're looking for:
2+ years' experience in Release Management, DevOps, QA, Application Support, or Software Delivery
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)
Certifications such as ITIL, SAFe Agilist, PMP, or DevOps certifications are a plus
Technical & process skills:
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience working in Agile and/or Scrum environments
Familiarity with release, change, and incident management processes (ITIL preferred)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Working knowledge of Git-based version control (GitHub, GitLab)
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
Tools & technologies:
CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
Project tracking tools like Jira or Azure Boards
Collaboration and documentation tools (Confluence, Jira, Slack)
Basic knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g. ElasticSearch, CloudWatch, Grafana)
What makes you a great fit:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple releases in parallel
Calm and decisive under pressure, especially during production releases
A proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
Why Inspera?

Collaborate with skilled, supportive engineering teams
A culture that values quality, trust, and continuous learning
Competitive compensation and benefits
