Hotel Receptionist
A hotel receptionist receives and responds to reservation requests, changes and cancellations of rooms and other services provided by the hotel.
Responsibilities:
* Identify the customer, their reservation needs and determine the suitable room type;
* Verify the availability of the room type and tariff;
* Explain the policies of guarantee tariff special and cancellation to the customer;
* Record and document special requests;
* Answer questions about hotel facilities/services and room accommodations;
* Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue;
* Perform administrative tasks, including insertion and alteration of reservations and client profiles in the reservation system and extraction of reports;
* Follow the appropriate procedures when addressing guest concerns.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the function (minimum 12 months) in similar units; Ability to manage online and telephone reservations; Ability to communicate with customers and other team members; Ability to work in a team; Capable of welcoming/greeting clients and clarifying their doubts; Knowledge of English language (obligatory) and French (preferably); Knowledge of HOST PMS software (preferably); Enjoy serving the public; Enjoy working in a team; Dynamism and proactivity; Sense of responsibility; Punctual and Assiduous; Flexibility of hours; Immediate availability.
