Languages
: Fluency in French mandatory; English proficiency at least B2 level.
Business Analysis
: Strong analytical skills with experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, functional and technical documentation, functional testing.
Technical Proficiency
: Solid expertise in data engineering: database design, production coding, data warehousing, NoSQL & relational databases, ETL processes, distributed computing.
Programming & Tools
: Knowledge of Spark, R, Python, Java, Scala; familiarity with Hadoop tools, system integration; use of Jira, Confluence, MS Project (valued); Power BI (valued).
Problem-Solving
: Strong critical thinking to address complex business challenges and drive continuous improvement.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
: Excellent interpersonal skills in French & English; experience building relationships with cross-functional teams.
Documentation
: Proficiency in French and English.
Soft Skills & Adaptability
: Flexibility to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Background
: Experience in banking or finance is a strong plus.
Your Responsibilities: Then What
Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and market trends to support effective business strategies.
Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures for large-scale data processing systems.
Architect highly scalable distributed systems and translate business needs into functional specifications.
Implement data engineering processes using SQL/NoSQL databases and ensure successful delivery of business solutions.
Collaborate with French-speaking stakeholders and cross-functional teams worldwide to ensure alignment and drive successful outcomes.
Gather, analyze and document business requirements.
Work closely with stakeholders across operations, logistics and support teams.
Support process improvement initiatives and identify optimization opportunities.
Ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
Contribute to documentation and workflows using Jira and Confluence.
(Nice to have) Support data analysis and reporting activities.
Location and Compensation
Location: Lisbon & Porto (Hybrid)
Level of Experience: Mid (3 to 6 years); Seniority: +4.
Salary Package: €1,200 to €2,000 base + food allowance + flex benefits.
