The University of Minho invites applications for a research scholarship within the project "BioCosMap - Strategy to valorise bee products from the Montesinho Natural Park through the development of organic cosmetics" (reference CBMA/2025), funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Portugal 2030 program.
The scholarship is aimed at candidates with a degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related areas, who are enrolled or plan to enroll in Master's programs.

The project focuses on researching and developing cosmetic formulations using bee products like propolis and honey from Montesinho Natural Park, emphasizing natural, local ingredients to boost national cosmetic and bee product markets.

The scholarship duration is 6 months, starting in October 2025, with a monthly stipend of €1040.98, plus social insurance reimbursement and personal accident insurance.
The candidate will work at the Centre of Molecular and Environmental Biology under the supervision of Cristina Alexandra de Almeida Aguiar.
