Adecco Recruitment is recruiting a CFO for a renowned multinational company based in Ovar.
Job Description

Ø

Responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timely preparation of FA and MA reporting for the company in Ovar, Portugal.
Ø

To lead, manage and provide guidance to those finance and administrative persons reporting directly to him/her in Ovar.
Ø

Provides financial support to the Business Unit Controller, local General Manager and Head of Filtration Technology Unit and other product groups, by analyzing the key financial and operational drivers (both risks and opportunities).
Ø

Support operations in effectively communicating the companys performance, progress and prospects to Management
Ø

Manage all tasks relating to finance - accounting, tax, controlling, budgeting, credit control and treasury and administration HR and IT related activities
Ø

Ensures successful application of accounting guidelines and financial policies (IFRS).
Ø

Supports and drives the implementation and development of financial initiatives.
Ø

Responsible for the deployment of operational excellence tools within the BU.
Ø

Provides financial and operational support on investment and / or other business decisions.
Ø

Participates in strategy development, financial and operational planning.
Ø

Assist in customer related issues including customer payment and financing solutions.
Ø

Handles local statutory requirements when it comes to Board activities

Requirements

Ø

Masters of Science, Economics & Business Administration;
Ø

Certified Public Accountant;
Ø

Sound cost accounting knowledge is preferable;
Ø

A minimum of 7-10 years of Finance and prior experiences in similar role supporting global business;
Ø

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries.Ability to write policies, procedures, and work instructions;
Ø

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to prepare written and graphical presentations;
Ø

Able to communicate with coworkers, peers and management through written and verbal communication;
