Business Insights Analyst Associate
This is a pivotal role that combines analytical acumen with adaptability, practicality, and strong communication skills. As a Business Insights Analyst Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional analytical insights and solutions to drive business growth.
* Develop and implement comprehensive data analytics reports, visualizations, and dashboards to facilitate monitoring of the business and enable swift identification and response to issues and opportunities;
* Assist in identifying key business indicators to enhance understanding of business needs among stakeholders through reporting, analysis, mining, and visualization;
* Provide timely and accurate analyses of operational and business data processes to diverse areas of the business while ensuring high fidelity;
* Bring expertise in statistics, data visualization, machine learning, mathematical optimization, simulation, or another analytical specialty to the table;
* Stay up-to-date with new tools and techniques as needed to produce top-notch results;
* Perform analysis of both strategic and tactical business and operational questions independently, pragmatically, and with creative analytical curiosity;
* Collaborate with business partners to analytically explore business and operational problems and resolve operational issues by increasing business acumen;
* Help simplify complex analytical models/insights/solutions in presentations for Executive Leadership Team;
* Author memos or presentations summarizing/explaining insights effectively;
* Practice active listening and seek feedback routinely to build business partner relationships and foster trust in analytical insights and decision support tools and analyses;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* University degree in Computer Science, Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar field;
* 0-2 years of experience in a similar role or related work experience (preferential in aviation industry);
* Ability to demonstrate high level of business acumen and commercial attitude;
* Analytical skills with demonstrated experience in creating data architectures and datasets, machine learning and algorithms, prescriptive and predictive modelling techniques, advanced statistical techniques, and their various applications;
* High proficiency in MS Office (VBA preferable) and experience in an analytical platform such as SAS, Python, AWS, SQL, R, or CRM solutions (SalesForce), and visualization platform such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI;
* Exceptional creative problem-solving abilities;
* Detail-oriented and proven ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a dynamic environment with constantly shifting priorities;
* Initiative, confidence, and drive to achieve results without explicit direction or detailed instruction;
* Fluency in Business English (written and spoken).
