We are now looking for a Java Developer willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team in a hybrid project based in Porto.
Senior Java Developer
Porto, Portugal (Hybrid - 2 days/week onsite)
What You'll Do
* Monitor and follow up on the resolution of production incidents, ensuring timely and effective handling by development partners
* Validate the quality and compliance of deliverables provided by external partners
* Manage and track production anomalies, ensuring proper resolution and root cause analysis
* Ensure the maintenance and reliability of non-production environments (integration, testing, staging)
* Participate in technical design discussions and oversee development activities
* Contribute to preventive maintenance and actively participate in the selection of application solutions
* Monitor and support project phases within agile squads
* Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Daily, Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective)
* Provide technical support to platform integrators and production operators
* Produce high-quality technical documentation and knowledge materials
* Contribute to functional and technical specifications following internal architecture guidelines
* Support and contribute to security and cybersecurity initiatives
* Challenge existing solutions and proactively propose improvements and innovations

Tech Stack You'll Play With
* Strong experience in Java and Spring-based web applications
* Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
* Good understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS protocols
* Experience with CI/CD practices and toolsGit, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus/Artifactory
* Experience with continuous deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible)
* Interest or exposure to security and cybersecurity topics
Languages
* English: Fluent
* French: Nice to have
