General DescriptionThe Project Manager E&C is responsible for the overall management and implementation of new wind and solar projects.
Ensures that the projects are front loaded with rigorous planning, value engineering, constructability processes, and best practices.
Directs the project team, ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, time, and cost objectives.? Main AccountabilitiesPreliminary Design and Design Review of Civil WorksDevelopment of a strategy and planning for each projectIdentification of resource requirements, and respective management from initiation to closingProvides strong safety leadership in setting standards for construction safety and oversee construction sitesProvides hands-on leadership, planning, direction, and management of procurement, contract administration and construction resources to assure total quality and project delivery on time and within budgetDevelopment and implementation of lean construction techniquesEnsure commercial and contract management process are in place, for each projectResponsible for the project reporting processes regarding key safety and construction indicators.Proactively identify project risks and implementation of appropriate mitigation/contingency/action plans, in liaison with the project teamReview and improve the project H&S plan and respective construction safety procedures and guidelinesManage project level expenditures and invoice processingDevelopment, monitoring and accountable of project budgets and cost.Continuous alignment and support to Finerge internal departments, such as the Legal, Project Development, Finance, QHES, O&M.Communicate information continuously and effectively to cross-functional teamStakeholder management and Project representative towards external entities, as service providers, authorities, local communities.Interface Management of the different project contractsEnsure adequate site presence and perform respective Quality assurance? ExperienceMin 5 years of project/construction management experience in the energy sectorProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software;Experience with renewables projectsExperience in procurement and contract management of Balance of Plant works? Academic BackgroundBachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Civil Engineering.
), or a related field; Master's degree (MSc) in Engineering, preferably in Civil Engineering.Complementary academic background in renewables is valued?
