We are looking for a Fraud & Loss Operation Specialist to join a dynamic team within a leading global e-commerce platform. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities and financial losses. Your work will be crucial to maintaining customer trust and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor transactions and activity for suspicious or fraudulent behavior
* Utilize tools, reports, and alerts to detect and escalate potential fraud cases
* Conduct thorough investigations and maintain accurate case documentation
* Analyze operational losses and support strategies for risk mitigation
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., AML, KYC) and internal controls
* Assist in enhancing fraud detection systems and control processes
* Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Customer Service teams
* Prepare and deliver clear reports to management and relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
* Proficiency in German (C2) and English (B2)
* Minimum 2 years of experience in an e-commerce fraud-related environment OR minimum 2 years of customer service experience; background in fraud, abuse, or cybercrime investigation is a strong plus
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills
* Ability to gather and evaluate information from multiple sources
* Proactive, eager to learn, and solution-focused
* Excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills
* Calm and professional when handling disputes and emergencies
* Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel
What We Offer:
* 6-month contract
* Base salary paid over 14 months: €1,100
* Complexity bonus (11 months): €100/month
* Meal allowance (net): €7.23/day
* Transport allowance: €20/month
* Schedule: Monday to Sunday, between 08:00 and 23:00 (rotating shifts)
* Days Off: 2 rotating days off per week
* Location: Lisbon
