As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented Textile Designer to join our design team.
Who You Are
You're a creative and detail-oriented designer with a strong background in textiles and fabric construction. You understand how design translates from concept to production and are comfortable collaborating across teams and with suppliers. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balance creativity with technical know-how, and are passionate about developing textiles that are both innovative and commercially successful.
The Role
As a Textile Designer, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end creation of home textile designs, from concept and research to fabric development and production. You'll design original, trend-driven patterns and also specify textile constructions that align with product requirements. You'll work closely with our product development and sales teams, as well as suppliers, to bring concepts to life while ensuring quality, feasibility, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Research market and trend directions to inform textile concepts
* Develop custom designs for home textiles, including both surface patterns and fabric constructions (weaves, knits, jacquards, embossing, textures)
* Create mood boards, presentations, and concept imagery for internal teams and clients
* Build and release textile specifications, repeats, and production-ready packages
* Partner with suppliers to develop fabrics that meet design intent, quality standards, and cost requirements
* Work cross-functionally with sales and product development to review and revise artwork and constructions
* Manage multiple projects at once with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
What You Bring
* BA/BS degree in Textile Design or related field
* 3–5 years' experience in home textiles, fashion textiles, or related categories
* Strong knowledge of textile constructions, materials, and manufacturing processes
* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
* Experience with repeats, textile CADs, and production-ready files
* Exceptional eye for color, trend, and detail
* Highly organized, able to multitask, and deadline-driven
* Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
* Experience with 3D rendering or visualization tools (a plus)
