Assistant Manager GBS Sourcing IT Software Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization Execute tactical buying for IT of low-value items within the given thresholds, including:Conducting supplier identification from preferred suppliers list, negotiation, and supplier selectionDeliver sourcing results to contribute to team's targets while ensuring that Service Level Agreements with the business are being metSupport procurement automation by continuously seeking opportunities to increase catalog coverage.Analyze business requests and assess the need to implement supplier rostering.Manage vendor creation in alignment with internal processes and compliance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesExecution of tactical buying process for IT within a defined lower thresholdConduct e-Sourcing events in Ariba SourcingInitiate order signature process and follow-up on distribution to supplierApprove/modify/Reject POs related to Tactical BuyingBased on Category Director and manager guidance, execute RfQs, for potential catalog items including contracting based on standard contract templatesSupport automated buying channel introductions by facilitating the interaction between suppliers and Content SpecialistsEnsure compliance throughout the entire processKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to read, write and communicate in EnglishKnowledge of sourcing strategies, approaches, and methodsKnowledge of contract management, compliance management, and analyticsGood ability to analyze specifications and influence demandCommunication skills and the capability to independently interact with different stakeholdersAction-oriented and solution-minded team player with a high degree of self-managementPro-active mindset in terms of identifying opportunities to drive automationCurious and growth mindset; keen to learn and approach subjects outside of comfort zone, look beyond the obviousExperience in a Shared Service environment or similar is a plusExperience with SAP Ariba Sourcing is an advantageRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum QualificationsA bachelor's or master's degree with an emphasis on the areas of business, economics, finance, procurement or legal, or comparable professional educationGeneral business experience, preferably in the Procurement area (low to mid-level spend) in a middle-sized or large organizationBasic experience within supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting area is obligatory.#J-18808-Ljbffr
