Experis is currently recruiting a Junior Key Account Manager – Rare Diseases to join a project within the healthcare sector, focused on improving early diagnosis and patient outcomes in rare diseases.
Mission
The main purpose of this role is to increase disease awareness among healthcare professionals, contributing to:
* Earlier diagnosis
* Reduced time to treatment
* Improved patient outcomes
You will also play a key role in delivering scientific presentations and educational sessions to medical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct hospital visits to healthcare professionals
* Promote awareness of rare diseases and their early identification
* Support initiatives that contribute to faster diagnosis
* Prepare and deliver scientific presentations
* Collaborate with internal teams and cross-functional departments
* Attend medical congresses and scientific meetings
Profile
* Degree or Master's in Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field
* Previous experience as a Medical Representative or similar role (junior profile)
* Proven experience in hospital visits (mandatory)
* Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a strong plus (preferably big pharma)
* Fast learner with strong adaptability
* Resilient, persistent, and goal-oriented mindset
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Location
* North region of Portugal
* Availability for occasional travel across the country (congresses and meetings)
Offer
* Base salary: €1500 – €1700 (gross/month)
