About this Role
This is a key leadership position that oversees the planning, execution and post-implementation of integrations and separations. The role requires strong business acumen, analytical skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Integration Planning
Develop comprehensive integration/playbook aligning with company objectives to maximize value creation through process improvements and best practices.
* Strategic Integration
Drive coordination and execution of integration/design activities incl. structure, operating model, transitional services agreements, data etc. to help realize desired strategic rationale for the transaction and realization of synergies.
* Due Diligence
Lead thorough due diligence assessing impact of integration/separation on all aspects of the business including financial, operational, legal, cultural factors with focus on value.
* Program Management
Lead manage integration/separation projects from planning through execution and post-implementation ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate multifunctional teams in M&A transactions to deliver integration/planning.
* Risk Management
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans addressing challenges during integration/separation process incl. legal regulatory and operational considerations.
* Change Management
Develop implement change management plans ensuring smooth transitions incl. communication strategies training programs support systems minimizing disruptions across organization.
* Reporting Progress Tracking
Establish KPIs performance metrics monitoring progress ensuring successful integration/separation outcomes end-to-end completion.
* Board Leadership Reporting
Prepare present integration proposals updates to board investors leadership.
Requirements
* 8-12 years experience
Relevant roles leading managing integration/separation projects M&A or related roles preferably software industry.
* Gravitas Representation
Represent company externally private equity owners.
* Operating Model Understanding
Understand various operating models constructed interdependent modeled.
* Complex Project Leadership
Proven track record successfully leading complex projects driving cross-functional teams incl. strong project management risk management budgeting governance escalation management.
* Analytical Problem-Solving
Extremely strong analytical problem-solving skills making decisions.
* Interpersonal Leadership Skills
Excellent interpersonal leadership skills influencing engaging stakeholders all levels.
