Job Role: IT Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain the SLA between Site and IT Operations to ensure consistent system performance, functionality, and daily utilization.
* Oversee IT personnel on-site, focusing on objectives and results, and ensuring each team member has a clear job description and regular performance reviews.
* Develop and track the IT Shared Services budget for the site, approving all related IT purchases.
* Monitor the permanent availability of systems, guarantee their proper working order, and coordinate or perform daily exploitation tasks.
* Collaborate with the IT Operations Region Manager to accomplish the following tasks:
* Gather and follow up on site requirements.
* Ensure user ownership of systems, if necessary coordinating training, procedure creation, and application.
* Provide 1st & 2nd level functional & technical support on-site for critical applications (ERP, JIT, Supplier Kanban, TCO), and all IT incidents reported by users.
* Enforce group standards, particularly concerning hardware, software, security policy, software licenses control, inventory, etc.
* Manage site contracts and relationships with external suppliers, including maintenance services.
* Define and implement IT procedures, including a Business Continuity Plan/Disaster Recovery Plan.
* Deploy new projects for local applications and infrastructures.
* Present a monthly site report, in the defined format, to the IT Region Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Degree in management with a specialization in Information Technology.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and understanding of when to escalate issues.
* Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Good understanding of/interest in shop floor systems (sequencing, traceability, etc.).
* Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems (Win7, Win10, Server) and Microsoft Office Suite products.
* Familiarity with software and hardware of PCs and network servers.
* Cisco Networking experience and/or training are preferred.
* Ability to communicate and negotiate.
* Fluent in English.
