The role of Network and Security Operations Engineer is a highly specialized position that demands exceptional expertise in network security, firewalls, and incident management.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Upgrading firewall clusters, modifying firewall policies, implementing IPSEC and SSL protocols, and capturing network packets using the firewall command-line interface.
* Thinking about upgrading stacked switches, deploying VTP, troubleshooting L2 issues, and adjusting access-lists remotely.
* Managing Cisco DNA to configure Cisco Wireless Controllers, Access Points, and Cisco Switches.
* Working with incident and change procedures via ITIL4 change management concepts.
* Expertise in working with Cisco Switches, Cisco Wireless technology, Firewalls, and Security terminology.
* Automating tasks using API and EEM Script.
Experience with Zscaler technology is an added advantage.
