Job Overview
We are looking for a Backend Developer (.NET) to join our team in Portugal and contribute to the development of microservices and business-critical applications within the .NET ecosystem.
You will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable APIs, implementing business logic, and contributing to high-performance, high-availability systems in an enterprise environment.
This role requires strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, autonomy, ownership, and the ability to work in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
What you'll be doing:
* Developing and maintaining microservices using .NET Core
* Implementing and evolving business logic in enterprise-grade applications
* Designing and maintaining Web APIs
* Working with Entity Framework and SQL Server
* Contributing to microservices-based architectures
* Ensuring high code quality, performance, and scalability
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
* Participating in CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps or similar tools
What we're looking for:
* +6 years of experience in software development focused on Microsoft technologies
* Strong expertise in .NET Core and Web API
* Solid experience with Entity Framework
* Strong knowledge of SQL Server
* Experience working with microservices architectures
* Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools
* Background in developing high-criticality enterprise web applications
* Professional working proficiency in English
* Spanish (native level is a plus)
* Strong problem-solving mindset and ownership attitude
Nice to have:
* Experience in financial services or regulated environments
* Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure preferred)
* Experience with distributed systems and performance optimization
