Overview
Supply Chain Business Improver role at Airbus. This position supports the PIX team (Control Supplier) and the broader Supply Chain & Logistics organization with compliance checks and risk analysis within Procurement Operations.
Responsibilities
* Support SCQM in ensuring Release Certificate are kept up to date in the relevant database(s).
* Perform random Supplier Control reviews quality checks and prepare administrative Supplier Control Reviews.
* Support PIX team in analysing Process Performance Indicators and proposing improvement action plans.
* Analyse suppliers’ master data evolutions and launch measures to identify impacts in tools to secure business continuity and compliance with data management rules.
* Monitor progress of questionnaires/surveys sent to suppliers and take appropriate actions.
Additional Responsibilities
* Assist the Control Supplier Process Owner in identifying and mitigating risks associated with supplier surveillance and compliance.
Requirements – ideal candidate
* Digital background.
* Experience in Supply Chain and Quality or Procurement, including Process management.
* Knowledge of Part 21G and/or EN9100 desirable.
* Strong communication and change-management skills.
* Ability to write emails and communicate with suppliers and Airbus employees in English.
* Customer focused with the ability to prioritize in emergencies.
* Willingness to learn and work with new tools; openness to change and continuous improvement.
* Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
* English fluency sufficient for negotiations.
* Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when needed.
* Rigorous and detail-oriented in work.
