Procurement Specialist
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle, from supplier selection and negotiation to contract management and delivery coordination. This includes identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality and cost-efficient sourcing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing procurement strategies tailored to the project requirements
* Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable agreements while maintaining strong supplier relationships
* Collaborating with project teams to forecast material and equipment needs and ensure timely delivery
* Managing procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions and cost fluctuations
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies
* Monitoring supplier performance and implementing corrective actions as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
The following skills and qualifications are essential for this role:
* 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing, preferably within construction, data centers, or large-scale industrial projects
* Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred
* Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship management skills
* Familiarity with construction materials, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) procurement, and logistics coordination
* Technical proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
* Analytical ability to manage costs and forecast requirements
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
* Ability to adapt to changing project needs and deadlines
