We are looking for a Squad Lead / Project Leader for a hybrid project in Porto.
Main Responsibilities:
* Focus on creating and communicating the vision for programs/projects, coordinating activities to ensure delivery with quality, on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Determine the delivery/framework approach (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) and establish evaluation parameters.
* Plan roadmaps and coordinate the team on tasks to ensure outputs meet requirements.
* Manage and/or coordinate cross-functional teams and resources; conduct work estimation.
* Liaise with the Product Owner to develop effective working relationships and ensure stakeholder needs are met.
* Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints; develop and implement mitigation plans.
* Regularly report progress to senior management and sponsors.
* Act as primary liaison and facilitator for Scrum ceremonies and coach teams on Agile practices.
* Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement.
* Remove impediments at team and cross-team levels.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in project management, delivery/Program management, and Scrum Master roles, with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives.
* Proficiency with project and delivery management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence).
* Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid methodologies.
* Ability to generate status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
* Budgeting and cost control capabilities; resource forecasting and variance analysis.
* Domain awareness relevant to the squad's area.
* Strong servant-leadership style, with mentoring and coaching capabilities.
* Clear, concise, and influential communication; adept at stakeholder management.
* Analytical thinker with robust problem-solving abilities.
* Builds and sustains collaborative relationships across diverse teams.
* Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
* Language Skills: Proficiency in English. French language is a plus.
