Overview
ITTF FRS is a global IT framework focused on Projects and Systems within Finance and RISK functions, emphasizing efficiency, agility, and innovation. It aims to support the Group’s transformation by integrating project and IT teams across Finance and RISK, under the ITG organization, with sponsorship from ITG, Finance, and RISK.
Role Description
The Technician Application Support (Level 1) is responsible for providing technical and functional support to users of bank applications, handling user requests, incident, problem, and change management, and coordinating with higher support levels.
Main Activities
* Support system users promptly and effectively
* Maintain a knowledge base of support issues and resolutions
* Develop understanding of systems and business areas for high-quality support
* Process requests for specific actions and generate reports
* Engage with production and project stakeholders regularly
* Ensure data integrity and system availability
* Administer financial systems and participate in new project implementations
* Perform recurrent controls to uphold team standards
* Provide training on support tasks
Required Skills and Profile
* Business, Engineering, or IT Master’s degree
* Up to 2 years’ experience in support or project roles related to financial systems
* Practical knowledge of systems, interfaces, and IT processes
* Understanding of financial accounting or management systems
* Proficiency in Excel, Mainframe IBM 30XX, and JCL
* Fluent in English (verbal and written)
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Team and Environment
The Madrid, Lisbon, and Mumbai-based SO FRESH Fronting team manages production controls and application support, with a dedicated team in Lisbon supporting user communication.
