A global industrial company is expanding its Global Business Services (GBS) operations and establishing a regional GBS satellite in Portugal to support Europe operations.
This centre plays a strategic role within a hub-and-spoke model alongside the global hub in India and satellite operations in Asia.

Your new Role:
As anO2C Junior Accountant, you will carry out Sales and Billing activities, including working with internal and external customers in the billing process to guarantee accuracy, maximise the collection of cash and reduce overdue debt.
Your responsibilities will include:
Undertake order management (Process Sales Order, chase project managers and administrators to update project).
Create and distribute invoices.
Manage disputes, dunning and cash collection tasks including dispute.
Complete sales ledger responsibility;
including processing sales order, cash collection & sales ledger integrity.
Achieve agreed collection targets.
Ensure correct procedures and processes are in place as per credit policy, and chase payments from customers on a regular basis.
Ensure that all business queries are resolved within agreed timeframes.
Ensure all client queries are resolved within agreed timeframes.
Take ownership of targets and objective.
Engage in and contribute to Sales Administration's projects.
What you will need to be successful:
Undergraduate degree would be an advantage as well as a previous O2C experience or working in a finance environment.
Accounting qualification would be a plus.
Strong command of verbal and written Spanish and English.
French language is a plus.
Excellent IT skills, including Excel.
Good systems knowledge, preferably experience working with SAP.
Proven track record of achieving KPI's
Deliver to strict guidelines and to tight deadlines
Must be able to demonstrate a high standard of communications skills, with the ability to identify the optimum communication channel as well as excellent customer service skills
