About the Role: KBD+/Q Developer
Required Skills & Competencies:
5+ years of experiencewithkdb+, including strong expertise in system architecture and theq language;
Proven ability to applyvector-oriented programming, leveraging native functions (adverbs, over, scan) instead of procedural logic;
Strong knowledge ofLinux/Unix systems, including shell scripting, memory management, and file systems;
Solid understanding oflow-latency architecture, including interaction between kdb+ and hardware (RAM vs SSD optimization);
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially inhigh-pressure, real-time environments;
Fluency inEnglish and Portuguese;
Nice to Have
Experience withmessaging protocolssuch asSolace or Kafka, and frameworks likeAqua or TorQ;
Previous experience infinancial markets(Equities, FX, Fixed Income) orlarge-scale IoT/sensor data environments;
Experience working inreal-time production systemswith strict latency requirements;
