The Role
The Lead People Business Partner is the main responsible for leading the People Business Partnering team and its respective agenda. Being part of a multinational enterprise company, the People function works in a federated model which allows us to recognize that different areas of the business need different things at different times. We'll therefore focus on working with local stakeholders, building what we need, when we need it, keeping our people at the top of our agenda.
This role will be the main responsible to ensure the local strategy and key priorities are met according to the expectations, while also ensuring the proper alignment and synergies across the Hubs that constitute Flutter and the Flutter Functions People team.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading the People Partnering team, ensuring its development and connectiveness while providing oversight and direction where necessary;
* Support the Head of People Business Partnering, Reward & Benefits in the definition of the team strategy, goals and priorities;
* Balancing enterprise goals with team needs, ensuring its ways of working and governance model are connected with the location strategy and divisional priorities, while also driving team effectiveness and scalability;
* Ensuring consistency in delivery standard and guidance across the People Business Partnering teams across locations.
* Building strong cross-functional collaboration with local and divisional CoEs;
* Contributes to the local People function strategy, being responsible for its incorporation within the People Business Partnering remit;
* Leading on key people business partnering initiatives and workstreams with impact across location;
* Supporting building local and divisional people plans, anticipating talent demands and contributing to the planning and implementation of the broader people strategy at divisional and location level;
* Assisting in the review, development and successful implementation of progressive people policies, processes and plans to drive continuous engagement and embed a performance culture across the organisation
* Supporting the continuous development, review and implementation of key people management processes – such as Performance Management, Reward and Compensation Reviews and Talent Management – in the location;
* Keeping up to date with the industry and function latest trends and updates, seeking for "best practice" solutions.
* Establishing close partnerships with relevant business leaders, ensuring consistency, providing consultation and coaching as well as assisting in organisation transformation and change programmes.
* Partners with key teams in the location, being a bridge across the different functions and ensuring the proper visibility, connectiveness and integration - Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Payroll, HROps, Legal - swarming on our biggest collective challenges, coming up with people centric solutions.
* Having a data-driven mindset and commercial approach, supporting each decision in data and key metrics to understand where and how to add value to the business and employee experience;
