Sales Representative – Outdoor Travel Agency (Native German Speaker) | Sintra, Portugal

Lifextreme is a tour operator based in Portugal, offering immersive outdoor, cultural, and sports travel experiences.

Job Type

A full-time role, designed to support balance and flexibility:

* 8 hours/day, Monday to Friday
* In-person or hybrid (3 days/week in the office)
* Work hours: 9:00–18:00 or 10:00–19:00 (to be agreed with the team)

Contract & Benefits

We believe in fair compensation and long-term value:

* Competitive net salary: €950 to €1,150, depending on experience
* Includes 13th and 14th salary payments
* Meal allowance included
* Annual performance-based bonus starting from year 2
* 30-day in-person onboarding training
* Hybrid schedule: 3 days/week in the office
* Initial fixed-term contract of uncertain duration (2 to 4 years), with the possibility to transition to a permanent contract.
* Company phone; mobile device upon request

Requirements

We're not looking for perfection—just authentic presence and solid skills:

Native German speaker (written and spoken fluency required)

Portuguese – intermediate level

English – intermediate to advanced level

Italian – a strong plus

Minimum: Bachelor's degree

A bachelor's/master's degree and/or at least 1 year of experience in the travel industry is highly valued

Comfortable using Office Suite & Google Workspace

Experience with social media platforms is a big plus

Key Responsibilities

A dynamic and versatile role, blending creativity, operations, and client contact:

* Design and sale of custom-made travel itineraries
* Writing roadbooks in German and English
* Drafting travel contracts
* Managing bookings with Portuguese suppliers, issuing vouchers, and supporting trips in progress
* Client care and commercial follow-up (email, phone, WhatsApp)
* Pre-trip site visits with suppliers to ensure service quality
* Post-trip follow-ups with clients to gather feedback
* Creating content in German, English, and Portuguese for website, platforms, mailing lists, and internal tools
