We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key player in the development of innovative aircraft electrical systems, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and certifying EWIS with a focus on compliance with aerospace regulatory standards.
Your primary objective will be to ensure system requirements are met while supporting design traceability, system modeling, and certification readiness. You will work closely with OEMs, suppliers, and authorities to align on system compliance and provide input for certification submissions.
This role requires a deep understanding of FAA and EASA regulations, as well as experience with IBM DOORS and MATLAB/SIMULINK. Strong knowledge of EWIS design and integration is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and integrate aircraft electrical systems
* Certify EWIS in accordance with aerospace regulatory standards
* Support design traceability, system modeling, and certification readiness
* Liaise with OEMs, suppliers, and authorities to ensure system compliance
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrotechnical Engineering
* 20+ years of experience in aircraft electrical systems engineering
* 5+ years of experience in OEMs or EWIS/electrical parts suppliers
* Fluent in English; Spanish and Portuguese are highly valued
