Your new role
As IT Coordinator Iberia, you will act as the primary regional IT lead, providing first-line strategic and operational direction.
You will ensure the IT function runs reliably day-to-day, align technology delivery with business priorities and enforce compliance with wider EMEA standards.
You will be the main contact for cross-border stakeholders and will coordinate technical teams across Portugal and Spain to deliver secure, resilient and data-driven services.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the regional IT point of contact and lead for Network & Security, Platforms/Infrastructure, Technical Support and Development & Data.
Manage and coach distributed teams in Portugal and Spain, setting priorities and monitoring delivery.
Translate business needs into IT priorities and ensure projects and BAU tasks are executed on time and to standard.
Ensure adherence to EMEA processes, KPIs and escalation paths;
liaise with international teams to maintain alignment.
Make operational and technical decisions that balance quality, cost and delivery timelines.
Oversee relationships with external suppliers and contractors.
Take an active role in Data & Reporting: validate requirements with stakeholders, ensure data quality and collaborate closely with the Data lead to prioritise work.
Contribute to IT budget planning and resource allocation.
What you'll need to succeed
4–5 years' experience in IT roles with responsibility for coordination or team leadership.
Broad technical understanding across networking & security, cloud/infrastructure, technical support and familiarity with development lifecycles.
Practical experience with data and reporting (SQL, data analysis or BI collaboration) is highly desirable.
Comfortable working with geographically distributed teams and within international (EMEA) frameworks.
Fluent English and Spanish (mandatory).
Strong organisational skills, pragmatic operational approach, stakeholder management and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
A proactive, business-partner mindset.
