Windows System Administrator Job
We are looking for a skilled system administrator to join our nearshore team. This is a full-time remote position working with clients across the Netherlands and other European countries.
Job Description:
* Configure and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring high performance and reliability.
* Design, deploy, and manage Containers and new landing zones, streamlining our infrastructure setup process.
* Maintain and package Citrix environments (image processes, app packaging), delivering seamless user experiences.
* Develop and manage robust PowerShell scripts for automation and maintenance, reducing manual intervention.
* Manage and write Hiera YAML files for Ansible and Puppet configurations, maintaining consistency across our environment.
* Set up and support monitoring systems using Zabbix and Kibana, providing real-time insights into our system's performance.
* Ensure strong, clear documentation for Run/Operations teams post-go-live, facilitating knowledge transfer.
* Maintain close, professional communication with end clients, building trust and confidence in our services.
Requirements:
* Proven experience with Windows Server engineering and maintenance.
* Hands-on knowledge of SCADA applications and their integration.
* Skilled in Citrix infrastructure management.
* Familiar with Openshift and Azure cloud platforms.
* Experienced in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
* Strong scripting and automation background, especially in PowerShell.
* Proficient in English, as daily contact with international teams is required.
