Job Description:
As a Software Expert, you will play a pivotal role in the development, testing, and integration of our PLC Sorter Library. This involves consulting with the Engineering team during the design and commissioning phases, as well as facilitating knowledge transfer between departments.
This includes
* Developing and improving our software library using agile processes.
* Responsibility for software commissioning and testing during the development phase at either internal simulation, customer test centers, or at site.
* Consulting the project manager during the design phase, software engineering, commissioning, and integration.
* Developing customer-specific solutions aligned with the library.
* SUPPORTING AND OPTIMIZING THE INTERFACE BETWEEN SOFTWARE PARAMETRIZATION PROCESSES AND THE SOFTWARE GENERATION TOOLCHAIN.
* SUPPORTING THE TRANSITION OF EXISTING CUSTOMERS FROM S7 CLASSIC TO S7 TIA.
* EMULATING THE IMPLEMENTED SOFTWARE USING DIGITAL TWIN SOLUTIONS.
* Possibility of site visits for new software developments.
* Working closely with the commissioning team during the integration phase of our sorting system.
Your Profile:
We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Electrotechnics, Automation Technology, or similar, who has experience in leading software engineering teams and/or commissioning/integration. Advanced knowledge of Profinet, AS-Interface, Profibus, CAN Bus, Ethernet TCP/IP is essential, as is proficiency in Siemens Fail Safe programming and knowledge of HMI technology using WinCC. Experience with emulation software and Allen-Bradley systems is also an advantage. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, teamwork, stress resilience, and commitment to business goals.
