Job Description

Project Management (PM) comprises project management for execution of cross-functional / geographical projects and programs from initiation to completion. Covers determination of project / program goals and support of business objectives and strategies. Ensures projects / programs achieve their targets, keep their schedule, and maintain estimated cost, time, and quality within planned scope. Covers management of risks that affect the delivery of project outcomes.

Customer Project Management (CPM) ensures that customer projects / programs are delivered within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Contains projects throughout all phases, starting from delivery approach identification to completion / care / operation. Comprises management of customer (and all stakeholder) relationships and expectations during the contract fulfilment as well as project team members / resources. Contains project risk management and improvement actions to secure project gross margin and upselling and cross-selling.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

Project Execution: Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of specific assigned projects.

Customer Interaction: Manage relationships with project stakeholders to ensure alignment with scope, cost, and delivery timelines.

Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project KPIs, ensuring adherence to cost baselines and delivery objectives.

Key Objectives:

Ensure successful delivery of services projects within agreed scope, timeline, and financial targets.
Drive incremental growth opportunities through change requests and upselling within projects.
Build strong customer relationships to maintain satisfaction and identify future opportunities.
Application of CNS PM Methodology.

Key Performance Indicators:

Adherence to services revenue and sales margin targets.
Change request and upsell generation within/based on the project scope.
Customer satisfaction.
Adherence to CNS PM Methodology (processes, tools and practices)

Main Deliverables:

Project Execution: Manage the day-to-day execution of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline. Deliver services projects profitably while adhering to the as-sold cost baseline and maintaining high-quality standards.
Customer Relationship Management: Act as the main customer point of contact for project delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns. Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders to ensure alignment and identify future opportunities.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report project performance against defined KPIs (e.g., revenue, cost, margin, customer satisfaction). Identify and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps or risks.
Upsell and Change Request Management: Identify opportunities for incremental revenue through change requests and upselling within the project scope. Ensure change requests are executed effectively to meet both customer and organizational goals.
Resource and Team Management: Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of project objectives. Provide constructive feedback to team members and foster a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.
Customer-Focused Delivery: Develop and leverage an understanding of customer needs and business challenges to align project delivery with customer objectives.
Operational Excellence: Ensure projects are delivered with operational efficiency, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing costs. Maintain effective communication and cadence with all project stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Drive a culture of quality and adherence to Nokia Essentials within the project delivery team to ensure consistent service outcomes.

Key Skills And Experience

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred, along with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
5–8 years of recent, relevant experience with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects or programs within the mobile telecommunications domain, particularly in core network technologies, 4G/5G, cloud solutions, and systems integration.
Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of assigned projects or programs, working independently with minimal supervision, while effectively collaborating with external customers, partners, and distributed/remote teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with high cross-cultural awareness and the ability to engage confidently with senior management on matters of significant importance.
Solid expertise in budget management, financial performance tracking, and forecasting, with a clear understanding of how changes impact scope, cost, schedule, risks, and opportunities; capable of developing and maintaining effective response and mitigation plans.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
European Union citizenship, meeting travel and security requirements.
Willingness to travel within Europe approximately 20% of the time
Proven ability to influence stakeholders beyond one's direct area of responsibility on project- or program-related matters.
