The Opportunity

The Virtual Demand Center is one of Cisco's fastest-growing sales and marketing teams, serving as the talent engine for Cisco Sales & Marketing with diverse, motivated teams delivering profitable growth. We connect Cisco customers with solutions to transform their businesses and make a positive impact on the world.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will deepen your understanding of Cisco's solutions and customers, working alongside top marketing and sales professionals. Your role involves responding to and qualifying customer inquiries from various channels, with ongoing enablement and coaching to ensure success.

What You'll Do

1. Respond to and qualify inbound inquiries from marketing campaigns to book sales appointments.

2. Engage with customers and prospects, applying qualification criteria and touch patterns.

3. Conduct relevant conversations by matching products and solutions to customer business objectives.

4. Meet or exceed response time SLAs and demand-to-lead conversion targets.

5. Create, develop, and close opportunities from qualified leads, collaborating with customers, engineering, and partners.

6. Leverage channel partners to enhance sales opportunities.

7. Manage sales opportunities using remote communication technologies and new sales models like cloud, services, and software.

8. Manage the full sales lifecycle for qualified opportunities and help generate pipeline across Cisco's segments.

Minimum Requirements

- At least 1 year of meaningful work experience, preferably in sales within the IT sector.

- Strong multitasking, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.

- Familiarity with Microsoft applications and willingness to learn other sales tools.

- Proficiency in English.

Preferred Requirements

- Experience in large IT companies and channel partner sales.

- Experience with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Gong is a plus.

- Fluency in at least one of the following languages: Italian or Arabic.
