Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the WH Coordinator & Parts Expeditor has the responsibility for ensuring the Pt145 maintenance organisation receives the timely supply of components to meet scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities. The WH Coordinator & Parts Expeditor will coordinate activities across the supply chain organisation, including planning, purchasing and warehouse operations to ensure that all staff are aware of the Pt145 priorities and are focussed on overcoming any unavailability of stock.

The WH Coordinator & Parts Expeditor will keep all stakeholders informed of the latest status of parts orders so that maintenance activities can be planned effectively and delivered to schedule.

As a WH Coordinator & Parts Expeditor Is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing aircraft materials in compliance with EASA/FAA requirements. Ensures accurate traceability, inventory control, and supports urgent AOG logistics. Manages domestic/international shipments, operates warehouse equipment, and may provide support at other locations.

The selected person may be based in our office of Salemas, Lisbon.

Main responsabilities

* Ensure prompt delivery of materials and services by communicating with the Pt145 Maintenance organisation on the status of critical orders and eliminating difficulties and delays.
* Monitor the flow of stock from supply planning, purchasing through to actual product deliveries.
* Proactively manage delivery dates to ensure parts are available to meet production and delivery targets, for both line and base maintenance.
* Ensure the maintenance teams are updated daily on the status of forecast delivery dates for any stock that is unavailable.
* Ensure the Planning & Performance team and the Purchasers are aware of priorities, are working closely with suppliers and are providing regular and accurate feedback on delivery.
* Attend maintenance daily planning meetings to ensure all parts requirements are understood, up-to-date and accurate.
* Work across the supply chain to develop effective solutions to overcome parts unavailability whilst maintaining clear and open lines of communication with all stakeholders, escalating Issues as appropriate.
* Develop strong relationships across supply chain and maintenance always seeking to improve working methods and communications.
* Receive, inspect, and register aircraft parts and materials according to MOE and aviation standards.
* Store, label, and preserve components following traceability, shelf‐life, and serviceability requirements.
* Prepare and issue materials for line and base maintenance activities.
* Perform cycle counts and general inventories, ensuring stock accuracy.
* Handle domestic and international shipments, including urgent AOG logistics.
* Maintain warehouse safety, order, and compliance with audit and quality procedures.
* Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
* Provide occasional support to other warehouse locations.

Core capabilities

* Excellent organizational and communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across various departments.
* Strong team player and customer focused with good problem-solving skills to identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions.
* Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems needed to check purchase orders and maintain purchasing records.
* Effective in time management and prioritisation with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
* Detail-oriented and analytical with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Sound knowledge of English, Spanish and Portuguese

Essential requirements

* At least 5 years' experience in global Supply Chain operations.
* Strong understanding of supply chain & WH best practices, purchasing, lean six sigma, and project improvement.
* Experience in driving to resolution supply chain issues in collaboration with suppliers and customers.

Preferred requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or related subject.
* Experience in an aviation related supply chain environment.
