We are hiring: Head Waiter

We are looking for a Head Waiter to lead our front-of-house team in a high-end, independent hospitality project in Comporta.
This role is central to delivering a refined yet relaxed service experience, combining operational excellence with genuine hospitality. You will work closely with the F&B Director to ensure consistency, quality and team development.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily restaurant and bar operations.
Inspire, train and motivate the front-of-house team, leading by example.
Deliver a personalised, attentive guest experience aligned with a 5★ standard.
Ensure smooth service flow, quality control and HACCP compliance.
Oversee floor stock, equipment and service readiness.
Drive sales through intelligent upselling and strong product knowledge.
Coordinate service during events and special functions.
Profile
Proven experience in a Head Waiter / Floor Manager role within premium hospitality.
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
Natural service mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to perform under pressure in dynamic, high-volume environments.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
POS knowledge is a plus.
