What you can expect
* Collaborate with a talented and international team of engineers, architects, and cloud experts to design and implement data-driven solutions from concept to deployment.
* Translate business needs, user stories, and technical requirements into scalable and efficient data warehouse solutions.
* Communicate your technical decisions clearly to team members and stakeholders, ensuring solutions are strategic, adaptable, and aligned with project goals.
* Proactively suggest and implement process improvements, engage in technical discussions, and lead code reviews with constructive feedback and innovative solutions.
* Be involved in the entire development lifecycle of data pipelines and warehouse architectures, applying critical thinking and leveraging advanced tools and methodologies.

Skills And Qualifications
As a Data Engineer at xgeeks, you'll be part of a supportive, cross-disciplinary team including software architects and cloud experts, ensuring full-stack alignment in our Cloud Native Acceleration projects. You will enable and facilitate a data-driven culture for internal and external clients, using advanced data pipelines to generate insights.
We are seeking someone with experience in Snowflake and Data Warehouse development to analyze business needs and implement solutions based on User Stories. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient, secure, and scalable data warehouse solutions.
Key Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in similar positions
* Advanced knowledge and architecture experience with cloud-based data warehouse solutions
* Advanced knowledge of Snowflake – SnowPro Core Certified Data Modeling and Data Warehousing
* Strong DWH experience with diverse data models (Inmon, Kimball, Data Vault 2.0)
* Experience with database access tools like Oracle SQL Developer, DBeaver, etc.
* Experience with Python
* Experience with SQL
* Fluent in English and strong communication skills
* Availability to travel once a quarter to Munich
