DescriptionJob Purpose: The Facility Maintenance Technician will help provide a safe and well-maintained environment to ensure Advanced Pain Care and Advanced Surgical Center sites are ready for business daily.DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWINGResponsible for ensuring that the electrical and mechanical aspects of all facilities perform effectively and efficiently. This may include air conditioning, elevators, fire safety systems and other mechanical systems, as well as ensuring the distribution of electricity, heating, lighting and water suppliesComplete and document scheduled maintenance and work orders in CMMS (computerized maintenance management system software)Carriers out construction and maintenance duties in a cost-effective manner, Estimates cost of materials needed to accomplish tasks/projectsInterprets blueprints and diagrams in order to plan material and labor needed to accomplish tasksAware and maintains list of contacts, vendors and service agreements for each business locationResponsible for keys and access at each business location, Maintains accurate up to date logsMaintains inventory, purchases supplies, materials, and toolsPerforms journey-level tasks assigned to two or more skilled trades. Example: HVAC, plumbing, hand tools, basic electrician, laborerPreforms tasks such as lock/hardware replacement, painting, drywall repair, mounting of various shelves and or framed items and other handyman related tasks as requiredComplies with safety regulations, emergency procedures and securityMaintains clean and orderly work areasMaintains regular and predictable attendanceFollows instructions and performs related work as assignedRespond to urgent facility requests at time of request and notify the Building Engineer and Chief Procurement Officer of any safety or impact to business. Respond by email to facility requests within 24 hours and prioritize repairsPerform other duties as assignedAdheres to Advanced Pain Care's Policies and proceduresRequirements SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.High School Diploma/GED. Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college preferred4+ years of experience of hands-on facilities with an emphasis in mechanical maintenance4+ years of working experience involving HVAC and refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills to perform facilities and equipment repairsMust be highly motivated and able to work independentlyMust be able to prioritize tasks based on urgencyAble to work without supervision and appropriately meet multiple deadlinesExperience in multiple crafts preferred (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hand tools, laborer)WORKING CONDITIONS: Environmental Conditions IN PERSON, Medical Office environment and building mechanicalsPhysical ConditionsMust be able to work as scheduled – typically from 8:00 – 5:00 M-F, possible weekends or early AM hours for scheduled PM or emergenciesMust be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to bend, stoop and stretchMust be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at timesRequires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment, etc.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Strong dedication to supporting facility by working in a safe, customer focused manner.
