Join us as a Regional Procurement Manager at Siemens Energy, where you will drive improvement opportunities and lead the execution of procurement strategies across Portugal. Imagine collaborating with cross-functional experts to develop impactful plans in Indirect Material & Logistics, Direct Material, Governance, and Regional Management activities. Your strong negotiation skills and ability to build strategic relationships with collaborators and vendors will be key in meeting our operational needs and improving our procurement processes.
How You'll Make an Impact
3. You will contribute to the development and rollout of global procurement strategies, ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy's regional objectives.
4. Manage relationships with direct and sub-tier suppliers, leading efforts to pool and bundle demands for efficient sourcing.
5. Ensure adherence to procurement processes by guiding local governance and implementing standard methodologies.
6. Develop and implement negotiation strategies to boost savings, including developing frame contracts and conducting e-auctions.
7. Identify and mitigate procurement risks while capitalizing on market opportunities through tailored risk management strategies.
8. Collaborate with collaborators to ensure their needs are met and develop sourcing strategies that represent Siemens Energy's interests.
What You Bring
9. 5+ years of experience in Strategic Procurement, including tender preparation, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
10. A BA/BS or equivalent experience in Business Management, Economics, Legal, or Procurement.
11. Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills, with a focused approach and excellent negotiation abilities.
12. Outstanding communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external partners at the senior management level.
13. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI, and ERP systems (SAP - Ariba).
14. Proficiency in Portuguese and English is essential; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
